Jorge Bolet (15/11/1914–16/10/1990): A Discography

NB. The following discography is firmly based on the one compiled by Farhan Malik and Michael Glover. I have made many omissions (e.g. all but a few of the LPs and some of the CDs) and some additions (e.g. the Albeniz-Godowsky Tango and the Palexa edition of the 1969 Rach Third). More importantly, I have tried to include all unreleased recordings currently available on YouTube, although these have the distressing habit of appearing out of nothing and disappearing without a trace. Unless otherwise noted, all releases mentioned below are CDs. No attempt at comprehensiveness has been made: haphazard compilations have been ruthlessly omitted (e.g. Jorge Bolet: The Romantic Virtuoso, Nocturne: Favorite Chopin, etc.). Budget-price reissues, however, are listed as fully as possible (e.g. Eclipse, Eloquence, Newton). Opus numbers are generally mentioned, keys are nearly always omitted (except when I deem them necessary). Where possible, I have combined entries in order to save space.
